Privacy Policy
Last updated October 8, 2026
This website belongs to Tito Food Photography, the food photography business of Ernesto Navedo in Central Florida, USA (“we”, “us”). This page explains what the site collects when you use it, why, and what you can do about it. If anything here is unclear, write to enavedo14@gmail.com.
The short version
- You can look at everything without an account and without giving us anything.
- We do not sell your information, show adverts, or use advertising trackers.
- We count visits and clicks as plain totals. Those totals do not identify you.
- You can ask us to delete your account and what you posted at any time.
What we collect
If you send a message through the contact form
Your first and last name, your email address and whatever you write. It is emailed to Ernesto so he can answer you, and you receive one automatic thank-you email. We do not add you to a mailing list.
If you create an account
Your email address and, if you choose a password, a scrambled form of it that we cannot read. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address, your name and your profile picture address; we never see your Google password. You may add a display name and a profile picture. An account is optional.
If you give a chef’s kiss or post a reply
We store the kiss or the reply (your chosen display name, your words and any photo you attach). Photos you upload are re-saved in your browser first, which removes location and camera details from the file. A reply appears publicly as soon as you post it, and Ernesto is told about it by email; he can hide or delete any reply. A heart you give to someone’s reply is counted the same way as a kiss. To stop abuse and to count each person once, we keep a one-way fingerprint of your internet address and of a random id your browser makes up for itself. A fingerprint cannot be turned back into the address or the id.
Automatically
We keep daily totals of which pages and photographs were opened and which buttons were pressed. These are numbers only: no cookie, no visitor id and no address is stored with them. If something on the site breaks, an error report (the error, the page, and your browser type) is sent to our error monitoring service so we can fix it. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs, as every web host does.
On your own device
The site saves a few things in your browser’s storage so it works: your kisses, your display name, a random device id, and your sign-in if you have one. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing your browser’s site data removes all of it.
How we use it
- To answer your message.
- To run your account and show you your own kisses and replies.
- To show replies on the site, and to tell Ernesto by email when someone replies or sends him a message.
- To understand which photographs and pages people enjoy.
- To keep the site secure and stop spam.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service companies to run the site. They handle information only to provide their service to us: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database, accounts and image storage), Resend (sending email), Google (if you choose to sign in with Google), Sentry (error reports) and GitHub (private backups of the site and its database). We do not share your information with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account details are kept until you delete your account or ask us to. Replies stay until you or Ernesto remove them. Contact messages stay in Ernesto’s inbox like any email. Private backups may hold a copy of deleted information for a time afterwards.
Your choices
- You can delete your own replies and change your name or picture on your “My Seat” page.
- You can ask us to delete your account and everything linked to it, or to send you a copy of it, by writing to enavedo14@gmail.com. We will act on it within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live, you may have further rights over your information under local law. We will honour them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
